Lent Study Groups
Join our joint Lent Study Group with Downsview Methodist Church, Wednesdays at 7.30pm at Downsview (runs 25 February to 25 March). Refreshments available from 7.15pm.
Palm Sunday - 29 March
Gather in the Hall for 9.45am to make a joyful procession into church with palm crosses for our special Palm Sunday Eucharist at 10am. During worship, the mood changes as we participate in the Gospel reading of Christ's passion.

TUESDAY, 31 MARCH - praying with the images of Christ's passion
WEDNESDAY, 1 APRIL - Compline Service
The church will be open for personal reflections from 6.30pm
Maundy Thursday - 2 April at 8pm
Please join us for this moving service as we recall the events of the Last Supper, sharing the hospitality and pain of Jesus and his disciples, with the washing of feet and holy communion. We then join Jesus in his desolation as the sanctuary is stripped. You are also invited to take part in a Watch, with readings and times of silence for one hour after the service ends.
Good Friday - 3 April
Worship and Walk with the Cross: gathering for a joint service at Downsview Methodist Church at 10.30am, followed by a short act of witness on the green and refreshments.
The Hour at the Cross - 1.30pm, back at St Oswald's: we wait at the foot of the cross as we movingly reflect on Jesus' arrest, trial and crucifixion, with music, readings and silence.
The Church will be open from 12.30pm for personal reflection.
EASTER SUNDAY - CHRIST IS RISEN!!
5 April at 6am, 8am and 10am
6am - Morning Vigil with readings as we await the dawn of Easter Day.
We begin outside by the fire, moving into church with the newly lit Paschal candle to greet Easter morning, before sharing breakfast together.
8am - Said Holy Communion
10am - Sung Eucharist and celebration of Christ's Resurrection.
