St Oswald's church was consecrated on 16th May 1934 and since then, has been a visible sign and centre of Christian prayer, worship and ministry as well as being present for people of all faiths and none. Many people have come to celebrate life events such as christenings, weddings and funerals and so we are a very special place for them. Others thers have enjoyed our beautiful garden or taken part in activities held in the parish hall, and many have come to the church to pray and to worship God. The area may have changed over the 90 years, but we are still there for everyone who lives in our parish.
All of this is cause for celebration on pur 90th Anniversary, and it is your celebration too!
